Education as the foundation for sustainable development
Quality Education for Every Child is an initiative of the Sustainable Development Council (SDC) dedicated to advancing inclusive, equitable, and quality education in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4.
The initiative works to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has access to meaningful learning opportunities that prepare them for the future and empower them to contribute to their communities.
Through partnerships with schools, educators, governments, and community organizations, the initiative supports programs that improve educational access, quality, and relevance for children worldwide.
Recognized with Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) from 2021.
The initiative focuses on improving learning environments, supporting teacher development, and creating programs that make education engaging, relevant, and accessible for all children.
SDC works with educational institutions and community partners to address barriers to education, including poverty, inequality, and lack of resources, through targeted programs and advocacy.
Quality Education for Every Child also promotes innovative learning approaches, digital literacy, and skills development that prepare children for the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing world.
